Erik Tomalis, Kappa Delta (Duquesne), joined the fraternal staff in 2003 as a Leadership Consultant; he visited undergraduate chapters throughout the country to engage members with the LEAD program and other Sigma Nu educational programs. In 2004, he transitioned to a position with the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation to focus his attention on developing alumni support for the Fraternity’s educational programs. Here, he began a new role as Director of Development for the GOLD Program. Erik served on the Foundation staff for more than 6 years, rising to the position of Vice President before taking a position with The Pursuant Group, Inc. where he is now a Senior Development Officer.  In this new role, Erik still serves Sigma Nu and regularly meets with alumni on behalf of the Educational Foundation.

Erik graduated from Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis’ (IUPUI) Fundraising School where he completed the Certificate in Fundraising Management and is affiliated with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and National Planned Giving Council (NPGC). He is an avid sports fan who enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He currently lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Katie, and in his free time, volunteers on the Kappa Delta Chapter Alumni Advisory Board, and is active in his local community.
