Atlanta Honorary Board Information

The Sigma Nu Educational Foundation has created our first Honorary Board in Atlanta, Georgia. With approximately 9,000 alumni in the surrounding area, we believe this is our best opportunity to create what we feel will be a mutually beneficial organization for all of Sigma Nu.

Honorary Board Objectives

The objectives for our Honorary Board are:

  • Provide networking opportunities for Sigma Nu alumni in the area
  • Generate additional support for Sigma Nu locally and nationally.
  • Institute a program that will provide a connection and relationship with recent graduates and more established alumni
  • Support the young men of Sigma Nu

To meet these objectives, we are hosting a luncheon on April 5, 2012, at the Cherokee Town Club. At this event, you will have the opportunity to hear from Bro. Gary Fayard, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Coca-Cola Company. You will also have the opportunity to network with all of your Brothers in attendance.

Honorary Board Benefits

The benefits of membership on our Honorary Board include:

  • The opportunity to network once a year at a luncheon with Sigma Nu Brothers who are business professionals and leaders in Atlanta
  • Recognition in national Sigma Nu publications such as The Delta, the Foundation’s newsletters, annual report, and website
  • Honorary Board paperweight for display at your office
  • The opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of Sigma Nu with minimal time involvement
  • The feeling of giving back to an organization that has given so much to us all Tax Deductible

Honorary Board Requirements

To join the Sigma Nu Foundation Honorary Board, we ask that all Board Members accept the following responsibilities:

  • A minimum annual contribution of $500 which can be raised or personally contributed
  • A three (3) year commitment to the Honorary Board
  • Help the Honorary Board recruit new members
  • Allow the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation to use your name in printed and electronic materials

We believe this will be a great opportunity for everyone involved to develop connections with other Sigma Nu’s in your area. By joining the Honorary Board, you will also be supporting your local chapter, the Educational Foundation, and the development of the young men of Sigma Nu!
