The Sigma Nu Educational Foundation’s Graduates Of the Last Decade (GOLD) Program began in 2002.
The GOLD Program was originally aimed at recent graduates and included Foundation staff members traveling the country to share our story and explain the need for alumni support.
Today, the GOLD Program focuses on renewing contact with all alumni. Staff travel to major metropolitan areas to meet with any and all alumni who are interested in hearing more about Sigma Nu, the Foundation, and how they might be able to help.
To date, Sigma Nu Educational Foundation staff members have met with over 4100 alumni through the GOLD Program. Apparently those alumni are not only happy to reconnect with Sigma Nu but have been so encouraged by what they've heard, they've chosen to give generously to support our programs.
Since the inception of the GOLD Program, alumni have donated over $3.5 million in pledges and it continues to climb every day.
